Responsibilities

• Issue bills to collect taxes from property owners twice a year
• Provide forms and information for property tax exemptions, abatements, refunds and appeals
• Issue and collect yield taxes, current use taxes and nuisance costs
• Issue various licenses & certificates
• Handle all phases of any elections held in town
• Automobile registrations and titles, boat, OHRV, snowmobile registrations
• Absentee ballots, voter registration
• Dog licenses, marriage licenses, birth certificates, death certificates
• Provide notary public service & Justice of the Peace
